My Portion and My Future

I read this week's verse last fall during a difficult time in my life. I repeated this verse to myself multiple times a day and studied the chapter where I'd found it. At that moment, I longed to know what my future held. God promised me He had it all under control. And He was everything I needed.

I adopted the word ENOUGH as my Word of the Year for 2023. It stems from this verse. Whether I have all the trappings of this life or not, He is enough. He is my portion and my blessing. He holds my future. I don't want it any other way. He knows my past, and He knows what is yet before me. He's the perfect one to be in control.
